Covid 19 Update at Eastgate Dental Clinic

Important information regarding Covid-19.

We are now open daily to see emergency and non-emergency dental patients. We are not restricted and will be able to treat routine dental treatment. As we are operating a new normal. We’ve adopted a card/contactless policy. We are doing all we can to ensure our staff and patients are safe. We do ask that social distancing measures are respected inside the clinic. We kindly ask if you have shown any signs and symptoms or been in contact with someone who has Covid-19 you call us on 01483573889 and rebook your appointment for 2 weeks’ time.

Arriving at Clinic.

On arrival at the clinic all individuals will get their temperature checked before proceeding to the Surgery and we ask that each patient comes alone. Please have the NHS COVID-19 app downloaded onto your phone as you will be asked to check in to the clinic upon arrival.

If a child and we ask that only one parent/guardian comes inside the clinic. We ask that upon entry to the clinic everyone wears a mask or a face covering, we have hand sanitizer stations in the reception so please sanitize hands. Each patient will be asked if they have had Covid-19, been in contact with someone who’s had Covid-19 or shown any signs and symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks, if so, we will follow our procedures and may ask that you rebook your appointment for 2 weeks’ time.

Changes

The reception area is sanitized every time somebody leaves or enters. We will be staggering appointment this give us enough time to deep clean the surgery after each patient, we have made another waiting area for patients away from our reception, this is in case we overlap with another patient and to ensure social distancing is respected. If this happens there will be a delay to your appointment as we will need to deep clean the surgery which takes, We will do our best not to let this happen but if it does, we need to make sure all patients and staff are as safe as possible.
